Our Team

  • Brooke Bumgardner CMHC/Owner

I became a therapist because I love connecting with others. I enjoy working with kids, teens, adults, couples, parents and families. We all go through times in our life where we need help getting unstuck and moving through the feelings of anxiety and depression that hold us back. Whether it is changes in your life, grief, trauma, anxiety or depression, I want to help you find healing. As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, I have the tools to help you get insight, new awareness and learn skills to help you make the changes you want and get closer to your goals.

I really care about my clients and work hard to build a relationship with them that allows me to meet them where they are at. It’s important to me to create a safe space, free of judgement, where they are able to feel and grow in confidence to create the life and relationships they want. I am EMDR trained and a Registered Play Therapist.

It can be scary to take the first steps to change but I really believe that “You have to feel it to heal it.” Reach out and we can come up with a plan to help you take the small steps towards the changes you want.

A little about me and why I am here. I spent over 6 years as a biomedical engineer working on life saving technologies and am grateful for the challenges and successes that came through that experience. Over the years it started to become clear that some of the fulfillment I was hoping for was missing. This led to a few year journey of exploring what I value, what I enjoy and what I am passionate about. My passion is empowering others to find resources that will help them remove the obstacles in the way of the life they hope for.
